Monty J: Our pathways and gate project was three phases: a) fence upgrade and gates, b) concrete pathway and c) a wraparound apron of crushed rock with pavers down one side. I did the fence and gates, but the rest was contracted with Rodrigo Escutia's team at Down To Earth Hardscape.

The concept for the concrete pathway was mine, but Rodrigo's advice on materials and implementation was spot on. The result is a work of art that a sculptor would be proud of!

I'm very pleased with 1/4-minus crushed rock. They worked like banshees to finish the rock and pavers during a 3-day lull in the weather. The amount of dirt, sod and crushed rock they moved in two days was phenomenal! The pavers are perfectly level and fit my Gorilla cart.
